Charlotte Craft Beer Week Kickoff Party

We’re ready to kickoff the 10th annual Charlotte Craft Beer Week with an inaugural fundraising event sponsored by The Charlotte Independent Brewer’s Alliance (CIBA)!

This year we’ll be raising funds for local beer journalist Matt McKenzie of Charlotte magazine. He was recently diagnosed with a rare form of sinus cancer and after all he’s done for the beer community here in CLT, we can’t think of a better cause to kickoff CCBW19!

We are thrilled to announce that over 20 Charlotte area breweries and cideries have come together to create one-off and limited release brews specifically for this event! Most of these brews/ciders will be unavailable outside of this event so don’t forget to mark your calendars as we make Charlotte Craft Beer history! Special shout out to The Charlotte Beer Babes for taking care of the raffle!

Tickets to the event are just $10 and will include a raffle ticket AND a beer ticket! Please purchase a ticket in advance if you are planning to come so we can get an idea of how many people to expect.
After your entry ticket (including a beer and raffle ticket), beer tickets will be $5 and raffle tickets will also be $5. We will have live music from Four Flat Tires from 6-9p.

Seaboard- Carrot Cake Meteor IPA – West Coast IPA infused with carrots, rum soaked raisins, vanilla and lactose.
Suffolk Punch- Initiation Gose AND Release The Mounds – Russian Imperial Stout.
Thirsty Nomad- Imperial Porter – Guvna
Triple C- Imperial Sour Honey Wheat Ale brewed with honey and a heavy dose of wheat and then soured extensively with a mix of wild yeasts and lactobacillus. Notes of farmhouse funk and tropical fruit hit the nose with a pleasant tart finish
